The Apple On Top Provost 2 is made from high quality stainless steel, built to last and is the successor of the previous version. It has been designed to withstand tremendous amounts of heat.
So what’s new and how to distinguish the newest model:
- AOT have made the silicone thicker to keep your fingers from getting hot.
- You can identify the newest model by the number of branches (12) on the stalk on the green silicone handle.
Not only is this a cool heat management device, it also gives you some wind protection for an outdoor session.
The Provost 2 will work with almost any hookah bowl if used on top of foil and holds 3-4 pieces of charcoal. Simply place it on top of your Hookah bowl and you’re ready to go. With the Provost 2 you can cut your charcoal consumption in half and get much longer sessions out of your bowl
With heat management devices one of the most common complaints is that they take longer to warm up and get the session going, the easiest way around that is to place the hot coals in the Provost II and close the vents. This will trap the heat inside and allow it to heat much much quicker. In the event your session is burning a little hot, simply open the vents to cool down.
We recommend starting your session with 2 cube charcoals inside the Provost 2. Begin with the vents open, if the sessions gets hot then tilt the lid to the side and put back to normal when it cools.
